The Bar A is Expanding!!

The BAR A RANCH of Carmi, Illinois and the GRASSLAND LIVESTOCK AND LAND COMPANY of Bowling Green, Kentucky have "joined forces" to give all of our customers a better chance at having World Class Paint and Quarter Horses to choose from and to make more money with.

The Carmi, Il. Ranch will do all of the breaking, training, showing, boarding, and sale horse preparation.

The Bowling Green, Ky. Ranch will concentrate on all of the breeding, foaling, taking care of all broodmares, foals, weanlings, and yearlings, and providing short-term and year-round mare and foal care.

This will enable all of our customers to take advantage of the great "Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund Program" which paid out over $2,700.00 per every AQHA and APHA point earned last year.

We will be offering World Class Stallions to breed to, and we will also have several horses to sell, train, and show that will be eligible for the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund

Program for AQHA and APHA horses. FOR YOUR NEXT WORLD CLASS AQHA or APHA SHOW HORSE, "CALL US FIRST".

WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING HORSES TO PROFESSIONALLY TRAIN FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING EVENTS:

Cutting
Versatility Ranch Horse
Working Cow Horse
Halter
Western Pleasure Trail

And we have several horses and broodmares For Sale that are all eligible for the Kentucky Breeders Incentive Fund Program.

We are currently promoting 3 World Class Stallions:

2. Chipola Doc Ware (1,500.00 stud fee)
3. Skippa Golden Shiek (1,250.00 stud fee)

THE FIRST 25 MARES BOOKED TO BOTH "SMART LITTLE FRECKLES" AND "SKIPPA GOLDEN SHIEK" WILL GET TO BREED FOR ONLY "$400.00" EACH. AND THE FIRST 25 MARES BOOKED TO CHIPOLA DOC WARE WILL GET TO BREED FOR ONLY $500.00 EACH.

I'm Joe Acord! AKA: Kid Cutter. Welcome to our web site. In my 50 years in the "Cowboy" business my family and I have owned, bred, raised, fitted, trained, shown, and sold all of the following:

	3 AQHA Champions, 8 Superior Halter horses
	9 Superior Performance horses
	Over 50 Register Of Merit horses
	10 World Champions in 7 different events
	5 Reserve World Champions in 4 different events
	Our horses have accumulated over 3,000 points
	Our horses have won over $600,000.00 in earnings


I am a 7-time National Finals Rodeo Qualifier. 3 times in Calf Roping, 1st., 3rd., & 10th. 2 times in Saddle Bronc Riding, 11th., & 15th, and 2 times in Steer Wrestling, 14th., & 15th. In 1978 I was the National Pro Cowboy Association World Champion Calf Roper.

Through the years I have learned and tried many different training techniques and have developed some "tried and true" methods that have proved to be very successful in the show pen and on the ranch. There is no substitute for experience, and here on the Bar A Ranch there is no shortage of experience.

I now train for the following events: Cutting, Working Cow Horse, Ranch Horse Versatility, Trail, Western Pleasure, and Halter, and Sale horse preparation. Our specialty is CUTTING.

We offer Riding Lessons for as little as $20.00 per hour

We always have a few REAL good horses for sale.
